Recipe Name: Finger Millet (Tamba) Swallow

    Ingredients

    • PachaMama Finger millet flour
    • Water

    Directions

    First mix the desired quantity of finger millet flour with cold water and make a very light consistency.

    Allow a pot of water to boil.

    After boiling for 5/10 minutes, pour in PachaMama finger millet flour.

    Continue stirring nonstop and sprinkle more flour till you get your desired texture.

    Once achieved, stop adding the PachaMama finger millet flour and add more water to make it softer. Cover the pot for 10-15 minutes on low heat till it is cooked (this way the starch cooks and helps your swallow to hold together).

    Open the cover and stir again till very soft and fully cooked.

    Remember to immediately wrap cooked the swallow in cling films or cellophane bags and leave for a few minutes.

    Wrapping helps the become more mouldable and gives it a better texture. Serve afterwards.
